As the Browns interview Jim Schwartz, the Next Level ask people their "One Word" to describe the Browns coaching search. They also get into a conversation about the Rooney Rule in the NFL before The Refresh and "The Hit List" with Bridget Linton filling in for Betsy P. ESPN Cleveland Browns analyst Tony Grossi also joins the show in the 3rd hour.

After some hires by other NFL teams, the guys talk about the Browns being the final head coach opening and if that is good or bad. They also jump into the Kevin Love situation with the Cavs and how long he will be with the team. "Grind my Gears" kicks off hour 3 before a discussion about the best TV Show Judges.

As week 2 of the Browns coaching search begins, the Next Level talk's about who is still in the search and who is out. They also get some updates on the schedule for the Browns and when they will talk with Josh McDaniels. They run through the Refresh and "Reason or Excuse" with some debate about Kevin Love's antics with the Cavs. ESPN Cleveland Browns analyst Tony Grossi joins the show in the 3rd hour as well.

They also talk about the latest candidates on the Browns list, including Mike McCarthy who is in Berea as the show was going on. They hit the Refresh and have Tony Grossi on to give his thoughts on Haslam's press conference.
