Hey Tony: What’s the chances we get both Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders?

-- Larry, Bucyrus, OH

Hey Larry: Early on in the draft season this seemed like a dream scenario that couldn’t possibly come true. Now? It’s going to be interesting. It’s seemingly more likely that Sanders falls into the 20s in the first round. Would the Browns make an attempt to move into the bottom of the first round to take him? I’m not sure. Now, what if he did last until their pick at No. 33? Would they take him? GM Andrew Berry joked at the Colorado pro day that he’d like them both. I’m fascinated to see that scenario play out.

Hey Tony: Taking QBs and Travis Hunter out of the conversation, wouldn't Mason Graham make more sense than Abdul Carter for the Browns? Wouldn't Myles benefit more with someone next to him on the line than opposite?

-- Kyle, Louisville, KY

Hey Kyle: You’re preaching to the choir. I was tooting the horn of Graham from the start of this draft season. I agree a stud DT would benefit Garrett more than a complementary edge rusher.

Hey Tony: Considering the recent early 1st round wide receivers taken recently (Garrett Wilson, Marvin Harrison, etc) and lack of team success that followed, is it really a good idea to draft a wide receiver so early? Even Megatron couldn’t save Detroit.

-- Justin, Concord, OH

Hey Justin: I think it’s an over-generalization to say any one position should – or shouldn’t – be taken high. Football is the ultimate team sport. You need to be good at as many positions as possible. There are a few positions, however, that shouldn’t be considered, say, in the top 10. In my opinion, these are guard (sorry, Joel Bitonio), tight end, fullback and specialists.

Hey Tony: Given the Cleveland Browns’ current roster challenges, particularly at quarterback, offensive line, and running back, what should they address first after second pick?

-- John, Willard, OH

Hey John: If they don’t take quarterback first, they better take it second.

Hey Tony: Do you think the Browns are so infatuated with Kenny Pickett that they would try and develop him this year and pass on a QB in rounds 1 and 2.

-- Charles, Houston, TX

Hey Charles: They like him, but not that much. He’s on a one-year deal, so, no, I would think they would take a quarterback by the second round.

Hey Tony: I know this sounds like an Ohio State honk but have the Browns talked to Will Howard at all? Will they look at him?

-- Cody, Akron, OH

Hey Cody: They met with Howard at the NFL Combine. I’m not sure they have a visit with him scheduled at team HQ.

Hey Tony: With the status of JOK still unknown, are there any LBs in the draft you could see the Browns targeting?

-- Ethan, Richmond, VA

Hey Ethan: Maybe somebody late, but I think they feel they’re set with Jordan Hicks, Mohamoud Diabate, Devin Bush, Winston Reid, Nathaniel Watson and Jerome Baker.

Hey Tony: Why no Joe Flacco on a vet minimum contract?

-- Alan, Saint Augustine Beach, FL

Hey Alan: Flacco would command more than the veteran minimum. He made $4.5 million last year with the Colts. I contend he could be added prior to or after the draft.

Hey Tony: From one to 10 what are the chances of Nick Chubb returning to the Browns?

-- Bill, Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Hey Bill: I’m going to put it at 6. Unfortunately for Chubb, there doesn’t seem to be a market for him. If he isn’t signed by another team after the draft, I would think the chances are better that he returns to the Browns.

Hey Tony: Is there any chance @BernieKosarQB will be brought into the Browns organization as an advisor or in some capacity like what the late Jim Brown was?

-- Don, Millersburg, OH

Hey Don: This has been an ongoing question since the Browns returned as an expansion franchise. He has been connected to the team off and on, but I would think if a full-time position were in the offing it would have happened by now.

Hey Tony: If the Browns draft Travis Hunter, do you envision him playing wide receiver, cornerback, or both?

-- AJ, Avon, OH

Hey AJ: The Browns are on record as viewing Hunter as a full-time wide receiver and part-time cornerback. How that evolves will be interesting to watch.

Hey Tony: If the Browns were to trade down to 9 or 10, do you think they would consider Ashton Jeanty and come back up later in round 1 for a QB?

-- Phil, Corvallis, OR

Hey Phil: I’m pretty sure Jeanty is not in the Browns’ future.

Hey Tony: If the Browns do what NE did last year who would be the second QB taken in round 5 or beyond?  Would this be a smart move?

-- John, Stow, OH

Hey John: Cam Miller of North Dakota State. Yeah, why not?

Hey Tony: Do you think the Browns are still committed to Deshaun Watson thinking he will be back?

-- Matthew, Millersburg, OH

Hey Matthew: At the NFL annual meeting two weeks ago, owner Jimmy Haslam said this of Watson: “We took a big swing and miss with Deshaun. We thought we had the quarterback, we didn't, and we gave up a lot of draft picks to get him. So we've got to dig ourselves out of that hole.” Translation: We’re moving on.
