The first spoils of the Browns’ 11-5 season so far was earning a favorable No. 5 seed in the AFC playoffs.

The second came on Wednesday night when five Browns were named to the AFC Pro Bowl squad.

Selected for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games were left guard Joel Bitonio, wide receiver Amari Cooper, defensive end Myles Garrett, tight end David Njoku and cornerback Denzel Ward.

It is the sixth straight Pro Bowl for Bitonio, fifth for Garrett and third for Ward.

It is Cooper’s fifth Pro Bowl of his career, but first with the Browns. And it’s Njoku’s first.

Bitonio, Garrett and Cooper were voted as starters.

In addition, six Browns were selected as alternates. They are punter Corey Bojorquez, kicker Dustin Hopkins, safety Grant Delpit, linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, center Ethan Pocic, and guard Wyatt Teller.

Bitonio’s sixth appearance matches Hall of Fame guard Gene Hickerson for the fourth-most in franchise history. Ahead of him are Hall of Famers Joe Thomas (10), running back Jim Brown (nine) and offensive tackle and kicker Lou Groza (nine).

Cooper is the first Browns receiver to record back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons and is the team’s first receiver to earn a Pro Bowl spot since Jarvis Landry.

Myles Garrett's fifth Pro Bowl selection could be just the first of several post-season honors for him. (Cleveland Browns)

Garrett’s five selections ties him with defensive end Bob Gain and defensive tackle Michael Dean Perry for the most by a Browns defensive player.

And Ward joins the famous Corner Bros. – Hanford Dixon and Frank Minnifield – as the only Browns cornerbacks to reach the Pro Bowl at least three times.

The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will take place over three days at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL. The final day of AFC v. NFC competitions is held on Sunday, February 4. It will be televised from 3-6 p.m. on ESPN, ABC, Disney XD, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes.
