The injury bug has struck the Cleveland Cavaliers once again.
The team announced on Saturday afternoon that reserve forward Kevin Love has a hairline fracture in his right thumb. The injury occurred during the third quarter of Cleveland’s double-overtime win over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night.

A timetable for Love’s return is not known, as the team says he will be undergoing treatment and his status will be evaluated on a daily basis.

The team has not announced exactly when the injury occurred to Love, but there was a sequence shortly after he checked in where it appeared Love looked done at his hand after throwing a pass to Donovan Mitchell after he grabbed a defensive rebound.

Love is listed as doubtful for Cleveland’s game on Sunday night against the Miami Heat. If he does not play, Love would become the fifth member of Cleveland’s rotation to miss a game due to injury, joining Mitchell, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Dean Wade.

This season, Love is averaging 11.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in 21.3 minutes. He’s made 40.9% of his 3-point attempts.
